I did want to share some of the fun elephant ride photos though so, anyone that is planning a missions trip to Thailand the elephant ride is highly recommended. It was a little scary because my fear of high places but, Becky kept me in line.

Thailand, Final Thoughts
As I sit at one of our local coffee shops here back in Portage, MI, I look back & think about the time Becky & I spent in Northern Thailand. Still not sleeping at night due to the 11 hour time difference, I look back and I can some up the trip in one word. HOPE.... The children of "Faith Village Orphanage"
have been through so much, from being in the children's army to the death of parents. After all of the adversity, the kids of Faith Village always managed to have a smile on their face.
On this trip I had numerous highlights; fellowship with the leadership team, fellowship with our team from Lake Center Bible Church (the church we call home), and spending quality time with the children of Faith Village.
The children had so much love to give, so much energy, and had their belief in our lord savior. A couple of the highlights with the kids were watching them color in coloring books & crafts with the girls, having a water balloon fight (where I seemed to have had the big target on my back), and playing American football in the river on a hot 107 degree day.
I can never forget about the scenery of the area of Thaton where we were. It was absolutely breath taking. I kept telling members of our team to pinch me because, I couldn't believe the beauty the area had to offer. The beautiful mountain views, although it was a bit scary driving to Thaton due to my fear of heights. The plant life of the area was certainly without a doubt a spectacle. Ranging from flowers of bright colors to tall standing palm trees, overlooking the mountains & river that flowed through the valley.
Becky has been hearing this from me on multiple accessions that, we would move there if we could. I
fell in love with the people, their culture, the scenery, the children of Faith Village, and not to mention the work that God is doing there. So I say this to myself & to whoever is reading this that, I will be back to Thailand very soon!!!! God bless
Greg

Some of the Beauty of Thaton, Thailand
Here are just a few pictures taken in Thaton, Thailand of where we stayed. Absolutely breath taking views. I told Becky a couple of times I can't believe my eyes are seeing something so beautiful. God is doing some pretty wonderful things in Thailand, and Becky & I will continue to spread the gospel there. Be blessed

A Day With The Children of Faith Village
Greg & I spent more one on one time with Caleb, one of the awesome children of Faith Village Children's Home. He understands English fairly well, and is very disciplined. We also got to clean the girls dorm, and bless the home. I also spent time with several of the other children, and it was wonderful getting to know them. Their eye for detail was amazing. They are very good artist. It was a great day!
What's for Lunch
Well what are we having for lunch today you say? Good question. It's Thailand ant eggs! You know something it wasn't that bad, it kind of taste like roast beef. When on mission it's always best to try everything because, when will you ever get the opportunity to try the food the would seem a little different from what your use too. Chicken & rice seem to go with every Thai meal. Becky didn't seem very open to the idea of eating ant eggs though. Well time to get some rest before heading to a village this evening. God bless! Becky & I Arrived at Faith Village Children's Home
We arrived in Thailand safely!! It is such a beautiful land & people. It is currently about 106 degrees Fahrenheit. A bit of a change from Becky & I's wintery Michigan. We are learning about Pastor David & Paula's ministry, and will keep you updated on happenings. Keep us, our team, and the children of Faith Village in your prayers. Becky & I love you, God bless!
